Finished Custom Optics

With Syntec, you can choose diamond-turned finished optics, or molded ones, confident that both will perform identically. We can also integrate diamond-turned crystal optics into solutions, if needed for performance in I/R light conditions.

Diamond turning prototypes reduces the total time and cost for product development by overlapping the time needed to create/change molds. Once developed, if projected volumes are low, diamond-turned parts either eliminate or defer the need for a mold, e.g., until usage reaches certain levels.

Our state-of-the-art equipment, with its C-Axis for non-rotationally symmetric applications, gives us many ways to solve the most complex lens requirements, including many free-form optics as well as the following:
